Gaining Permission to Film

As our music video required that we film in a location out side of school, it was inevitable that we would have to find and organise a day that was best for all group members and actors to be available on. This meant that our group would have to be absent from school for a day to film. We discussed with each other and teachers and decided that the day when we had a double media lesson would be most appropriate, as we would only be missing one or two other lessons. My teacher asked for us to contact her with the details of teachers whose lessons we would miss so that she could organise with them our absence.

Below are print screen copies of the emails I sent to our teacher when organising our filming:

In this email I explain to her the situation -what we have to film, our schedule and our target date to start filming and have the footage by.

Above are copies of the emails I later sent to my teacher with the details of which lessons (besides media) each individual group member would be missing on our planned day of filming so that my teacher would be able to contact them and gain permission from them for us to complete the necessary filming.

I am unable to include copies of any replies from my teacher about the filming as she did not reply to me via email, but instead organised the day of filming with our other teachers and spoke with the group in class.
